Just copy and paste the required SQL code in bold below including the semi-colon. After successful execution it will tell you how many rows (records) were updated.
NB If you get an ‘execution error near N’ you may have to edit the double quotes to ” from those that appear when pasted for queries 1 and 3
1.Set ‘Paid’ to No (run at beginning of each term)
UPDATE wp_participants_database SET term_paid=”N”;
2. Set amounts paid for each term to zero (run annually prior to new season in September)
UPDATE wp_participants_database SET fees_paid=0,fees_paid2=0,fees_paid3=0;
3. Delete members marked for deletion on the Members Record (run as required). Use this to delete Enquirers who never made it to training. Or any other long lapsed trainee or member but it will affect statistics.
DELETE FROM wp_participants_database WHERE delete_flag=”Y”
4. Annually, Remove personal data from records for all ex members and trainees after three years (to be written) [retain, name, borough, membership status, ex trainee dates joined and left. – to be finalised]
